On 25-Feb-2022, Seplat Energy entered into an agreement to acquire ExxonMobil's WI in OML 67, OML 68, OML 70 and OML 104 for 1.283 billion (Deal ID: 37200).
ExxonMobil is looking to sell certain onshore and offshore Nigeria assets, according to a Reuters article dated 2-Apr-2019.
Nigeria operations overview:
-- Holds OML 67, OML 68, OML 70, OML 104, OML 118, OML 133, OML 135, OML 145, OML 138, OML 139 and OPL 223 licences;
-- Includes 106 operated platforms;
-- OML 67, OML 68, OML 70 and OML 104 (40% to 51% WI): Include ~70 discovered fields with ongoing activities to maximize recovery;
-- OML 118 (20% WI): Includes Bonga Main field producing through Bonga FPSO with potential for further development at Bonga SW and Bonga North fields;
-- OML 133 (56% WI): Includes Erha and Erha North subsea developments producing to the Erha FPSO with concept selection ongoing for Bosi field. Phase 1 expected to develop ~600 MMbbl;
-- OML 135 (20% WI) and OML 145 (21% WI): Evaluating Bolia and Uge potential and development options;
-- OML 138 (30% WI): Producing through the Usan FPSO and currently evaluating development options for discoveries made at Ukot South and assessing additional potential on the block;
-- OML 139 and OPL 223 (27% WI): Exploration wells drilled in 2012 and 2016 with expected recovery between 500 MMbbl and 1 billion Bbl. OPL 223 conversion to OML 154, unitization and field development plan progressing for the Owowo project;
-- Net Production during 2018: 221 Mbbl/d (~60% - OMLs 67, 68, 70, 104, ~22% OML 133, ~9% OML 118, ~9% OML 138).
