Concho Resource's enterprise value has doubled since October 2010 – much in part to its aggressive moves in the Bone Spring play in the Delaware basin spanning west Texas and SE New Mexico. Recently, Concho picked up another 114,000 net acres plus some production for $330 million. The play targets multiple formations : 3rd Bone Spring sands, 1st and 2nd Bone Spring sands, Avalon and Wolfcamp shales.  It is oil and it is highly economic!

Oil company execs, investors and bankers know well the value of competitive reconnaissance. PLS’ new docFinder database is a valuable DATA source to help you keep up with “Emerging” and “New Ventures” plays. Building a powerful search in seconds, users can see how Concho has grown their position from a small holding in the Delaware basin to their latest expansion in Reeves & Pecos Co., TX over the past 4 years. DocFinder lets you quickly view and compare operations maps, financial measures, and reserves and production data graphed over time.

This database has captured AND catalogued over 200,000 historical slides from the industry and is continuously updated by a team of experts who have their “eyes on the slides”. Utilizing the latest technology combined with a friendly and intuitive interface, you now have a “one of a kind” database to tap into the rich datasets presented by the industry on a regular basis.

In the same area as Concho, EOG is planning on tripling its rig program to 3 in 2012 with multiple Bone Spring objectives below the shale. EOG reports EUR’s on the NM side are indicating 300 Mboe/well with IP’s  in the 600 to 700 b/d range with various amounts of gas.
