Spartan Energy Corp reported
growing losses for 2017 after an increase
in depletion and depreciation expenses
and a $29.3 million impairment charge.
The company reported a 2017 net loss of
$26 million on revenue of $359 million,
from a 2016 loss of $18.6 million on
revenue of $160 million.
The growing loss stems in part from a
$29.3 million impairment charge Spartan
incurred when the net book value of its West
Central Saskatchewan assets exceeded the
recoverable amount. The company also
