While Southwestern’s Northeast
Appalachia operations were negatively
impacted by third-party midstream
operations in Q2, the company was uplifted
by its completions in the area. Southwestern
achieved some of its “best wells ever drilled
after seven years of development” in the area.

laterals, lateral placement, completion
intensity and optimized flow techniques
represent a step change in how the
company is approaching well design to
