Magellan Midstream Partners will not proceed with a plan for its own crude
pipeline from Crane, TX, to Houston or Corpus Christi after open seasons failed
to drum up enough shipper interest. It’s the first Permian-Gulf Coast project to fall
by the wayside after more than 3.0 MMbbl/d worth of projects were
announced in 2017.
Tulsa-based Magellan
launched an open season in December for
the proposed 375-mile, 24-in. pipeline from Crane to near Three Rivers, TX, from
which 350,000 bbl/d of crude......
