The US Bureau of Land
Management raised $60.4 million in
high bids during a three-day auction for
Wyoming where it offered 348 parcels
and received bids on 311 covering
301,605 acres. Deputy Secretary of
the Interior David Bernhardt said the
lease sale results were “among our
best on record in Wyoming.” On a peracre
basis, the highest bid received was
$13,208/acre. The BLM said it worked
closely with the state of Wyoming to
develop a leasing plan that protected
a mule deer migration corridor in the
