North Dakota’s oil production rose
35,000 bo/d, or 3.5%, sequentially in
August to 1.08 MMbo/d, according to
the North Dakota Department of Mineral
Resources’ most recent data. Counties
fueling the increase were Dunn (+4,189
bo/d to 212,194 bo/d), McKenzie
(+20,696 bo/d to 430,190 bo/d) and
Williams (10,892 bo/d to 166,406 bo/d).
Bottineau, Burke, Mountrail, Slope and
Stark also saw increases.
Natural gas volumes reached an all-time
high of 1.94 Bcf/d in August, up 2.5%, as
drilling expands outside of the play’s core.
