Equinor is still planning to start Phase 1 production from Johan Sverdrup field offshore Norway in November but said it should reach plateau production of 440,000 boe/d by summer 2020, significantly faster than the 12-month ramp-up previously anticipated. The company also announced it was able to reduce capex for Phase 1 by another NOK3 billion ($340 million) for a total reduction of NOK40 billion ($4.55 billion) since it first submitted plans for the project.......
