EOG Resources credits its culture of innovation and data-driven decision making
for the success of its core Eagle Ford and Permian drilling programs, and the company
says it is applying the same approach to optimize productivity and lower costs on
the Woodford position it unveiled in November 2017. EOG is experimenting
with different completion designs, targets and spacing patterns on its 50,000
net acres in the Woodford oil window. The acreage lies primarily in McClain
County, Oklahoma.
