White Deer Energy-backed Corterra Energy was revealed as the buyer of a package
of Continental Resources’ Akoma Basin assets in a $68 million deal first announced
in August. The assets consist of 26,000 net acres and 400 producing wells in Atoka,
Coal, Hughes and Pittsburg Cos., OK. Corterra, now with a total Arkoma acreage
position of 70,000 net acres, said it would target woodford liquids instead of the
