It’s official. Williams is now in business with Canadian pensioners as their $3.8 billion
joint venture is finalized. The US pipeline owner and operator received about $1.33 billion
from the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board for a 35% stake in Williams’ owned and
operated Ohio Valley Midstream and its Utica East Ohio pipeline systems. The joint venture
excludes Williams’ ownership stakes in Flint Gathering, Cardinal Gathering, Marcellus
South Gathering, Laurel Mountain Midstream and Blue Racer Midstream,
the company said.
