The EIA projects that Bakken
production will rise by 7,000 bo/d and
16 MMcf/d sequentially in August to
1.44 MMbo/d and 3.015 Bcf/d. There are 694 DUCs in the
Bakken as of June, down by 15
compared to May. North Dakota’s oil production
grew a modest 800 bo/d sequentially
to 1.39 MMbo/d in May. Natural gas
production was down slightly to 2.82
Bcf/d as companies waited
for more gas infrastructure
to be added, such as more
processing plants and Oneok’s Elk
Creek pipeline. Gas flaring rose to
19%......
