SK Migas to become Indonesia’s official upstream regulator

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is expected to issue a decree later this month that will make provisional upstream regulator SK Migas the official and permanent governing body of the country’s oil and gas sector. SK Migas was created as a temporary regulator following a Constitutional court order in November that dismantled BP Migas as Indonesia’s upstream regulator.
