The 17 Tcf in place Perla field offshore Venezuela has been started up by partners Repsol and Eni. It is now producing 150 MMcf/d, which will be pushed to 450 MMcf/d after additional wells are brought on stream later this year. Perla is expected to eventually reach peak output of 1.2 Bcf/d in 2020 and sustain that level of production until Repsol and Eni’s contract expires in 2036. Perla is operated by Cardón IV......
