BP will move its Lower 48 onshore business headquarters to Denver in 1Q18 to be closer to its Rockies assets, which hold two-thirds of the business’ proved reserves. The business unit is currently headquartered in Houston. The unit covers operations in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Wyoming and produces 300,000 boe/d.
