Legacy Oil + Gas has purchased Molopo Energy Canada's light oil assets, reserves and undeveloped land in the Spearfish resource play for $185.4 million. The deal includes 800 b/d of light oil from the Pierson area of southwest Manitoba and gives Legacy development drilling opportunities over 40,924 gross acres.
