Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation and subsidiaries is a Houston, Texas based independent exploration and production company engaged in the acquisition of producing properties and exploratory leases, secondary enhanced oil recovery projects, exploratory drilling, and production of crude oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas primarily in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Texas, North Dakota and Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company changed its name to Magnum Hunter Resources Corporation and its common share ticker symbol to ‘MHR’ from Petro Resources Corporation (NYSE Amex: PRC) on July 14, 2009.

The Company is active in three shale resource plays in the United States: the Marcellus Shale, Eagle Ford Shale and Williston Basin/Bakken Shale.

As of September 30, 2009, Eagle Ford Hunter, Inc. (formerly known as Sharon Resources, Inc.) operates as a subsidiary of Magnum Hunter Resources Corp.

NuLoch Resources Inc. (NuLoch) is engaged in the exploration, development, and production of petroleum and natural gas in Western Canada. During the year ended December 31, 2008, NuLoch’s production averaged 522 barrel of oil equivalent per day. The Enchant shallow gas property is comprised of 38 wells. As of December 31, 2008, all of the Company's producing properties were located in Alberta. In August 2009, the Company completed the acquisition of Wilderness Energy Corp., a private oil and gas company.
