Approach Resources Inc., is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, production and acquisition of unconventional natural gas and oil properties. The Company is focused on finding and developing natural gas reserves in known tight gas sands and shale gas areas.

The Company's management and technical team has a proven track record of finding and exploiting unconventional reservoirs by applying advanced drilling, fracturing and completion techniques. As the operator of all of Approach's production and proved reserves, the Company has a high degree of control over capital expenditures and other operating matters.

Approach was founded in September 2002 to acquire and develop onshore natural gas and oil reserves. Since 2002, Approach has grown through the drill bit in the company's West Texas drilling program.
